Does OHIP cover the cost of therapy with ALM Aide?

While OHIP covers visits to a psychiatrist (a medical doctor), it does not typically cover sessions with psychotherapists, social workers, or counsellors. Our services are not directly billed to OHIP. However, we are happy to provide detailed receipts for you to submit to your private insurance or for a tax credit.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client who may be on a waitlist. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to the full session fee.
